I called the guy at the store where they sold me my PS2, and he says that the PS2 console has these problems with PS1 games, and told me to use my old PS1. I did actually manage to get to disc 2 by using my old PS1. I didn't know you can load the 1st disc file from your second one. IF ya still have the same problem, it is possible that yer CD have been damage. And you should be able to continue playing like normal in CD2. It will still load - I have done it a few times in the past. Then switch off your game, take out your CD1 and insert CD2. Is it possible for the save file to be corrupted somehow?
